Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vladimiro Oxel kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Traill's goalkeeper Tadeo Sotil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Traill getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Amado Osoro hit a great ball. Tadeo Sotil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filiberto Guillelmus in the 6th minute. Vladimiro Oxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melchor Matei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Nel having to interfere. Everardo Nel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Oxel, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Everardo Nel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melchor Matei in the 36th minute of the match. Tadeo Sotil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Lluques in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Americo Lluques to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Julian Loi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Traill's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Candelaria the free kick. In the 54th minute, Julian Loi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 55 minutes, Norberto Tabor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candelaria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Tabor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Americo Lluques came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Candelaria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Americo Lluques couldn't finish the play. Tadeo Sotil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Guillelmus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Traill's Amado Osoro got a free kick in the 64th minute. Julian Loi hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Melchor Matei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Candelaria's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Vladimiro Oxel scored to the left of an out of position Everardo Nel, making the score, 0-1. Filiberto Guillelmus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Tadeo Sotil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Traill supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Traill would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
