But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Poz couldn't finish the play. Cosme Fernado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Tabossi FC's Aquilino Sandaili sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teobaldo Abecia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julian Poz's late challenge caught a Tabossi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julian Poz helped the player get up and apologised. Julian Poz kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
