An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Lore in the 3rd minute of play forced Hormiguero's goalkeeper Salvador Estavan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopoldo Corderall during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 6 played minutes Hormiguero got a freekick which was hit by Matias Tulio. If Teodoro Lore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodoro Lore in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salvador Estavan saved Hormiguero from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Vedia AFC's Salvador Estavan threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teodoro Lore, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 19 minutes into the match, Hormiguero's goalkeeper Salvador Estavan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gervasio Lehior. In the 20th match minute, Hormiguero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Tulio to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Hormiguero's zone, Teodoro Lore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvador Estavan came out of the goal and Teodoro Lore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ignacio Colon kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 27thth minute of the game Teodoro Lore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hormiguero's Salvador Estavan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Evelio Quintyn succeeded in the game's 39th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. In the 44thth minute of the game Hernan Pere who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vedia AFC's Domingos Hori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Domingos Hori came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Hormiguero's Hernan Pere. But to his dismay, Hernan Pere quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The Vedia AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hormiguero's performance. The match ended with a win for Hormiguero.
