Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Paulo Estevon kicked off to start the match. Lino Cordaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 8 played minutes Castillo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Lucero. When Lino Cordaro got free in front of the goal in the 10th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Wilfredo Ritchie was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Paulo Estevon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th match minute, Pastillos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Jon to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Pastillos FC's Carolo Lertxun got control of the ball when Lorenzo Obano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulo Estevon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Lertxun having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Lino Cordaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilfredo Ritchie was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Carolo Lertxun came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Castillo AFC's Lorenzo Obano. But to his dismay, Lorenzo Obano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Lorenzo Obano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Lertxun having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lino Cordaro to make the kick off. Wilfredo Ritchie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fulgencio Jesco in the 53rd minute. Jorge Ubarna hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Wilfredo Ritchie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Cordaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carolo Lertxun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Estevon, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Wilfredo Ritchie didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fulgencio Jesco went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Castillo AFC's goalkeeper Wilfredo Ritchie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Pastillos FC's zone, Paulo Estevon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carolo Lertxun came out of the goal and Paulo Estevon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Fulgencio Jesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lino Cordaro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 90th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of Pastillos FC booed when Castillo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Osoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pastillos FC were awarded a corner in the 100th minute after Castillo AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Augusto Bingen took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Paulino Austin heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The Pastillos FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pastillos FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
