Tuclame's Venancio Rubio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Tuclame from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Cortez in the 8th minute of play forced Pastillos FC's goalkeeper Carolo Lertxun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venancio Rubio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Olayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Carolo Lertxun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Silvanito in the 12th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pastillos FC's zone, Alfonso Iigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carolo Lertxun came out of the goal and Alfonso Iigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fulgencio Jesco got free with Venancio Rubio in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tuclame's Venancio Rubio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Tuclame from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute, Aaron Silvanito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carolo Lertxun was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 25 minutes into the match, Pastillos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Cortez came free, but Carolo Lertxun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pastillos FC's Augusto Bingen got a free kick in the 27th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Fulgencio Jesco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Venancio Rubio. Tuclame's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fulgencio Jesco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Isidro Lope blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carolo Lertxun having to make a save. In the 41st minute of the match Isidro Lope sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carolo Lertxun skillfully saved the ball. Venancio Rubio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Cordaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venancio Rubio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Cordaro in the 45th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lino Cordaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elias Cortez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Lertxun having to interfere. Modesto Serafo kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Tuclame's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Olayo came free, but Venancio Rubio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Cortez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Carolo Lertxun made a huge save. Alfonso Iigo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 69th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 74 minutes into the match, Pastillos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Iigo came free, but Carolo Lertxun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfonso Iigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Lertxun having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Tuclame's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Jesco came free, but Venancio Rubio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lino Cordaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute Fulgencio Jesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Rubio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pastillos FC's goalkeeper Carolo Lertxun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
