The supporters of Galvan FC booed when Chorrillos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Marino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chorrillos FC's Rene Duardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Lluterio in the 30th minute of play. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Basilio Ted sped through Chorrillos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rene Duardo. Pascual Lluterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Duardo having to interfere. Rene Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Ted in the 41st minute of play. Rene Duardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Lluterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Ted in the 46th minute of play forced Chorrillos FC's goalkeeper Rene Duardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the final whistle sounded Galvan FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chorrillos FC.
