With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Eliazar in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rene Duardo saved Chorrillos FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Dorio in the 6th minute of play forced Lagunita AFC's goalkeeper Adan Oton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cornelio Dorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Oton having to interfere. If Armando Eliazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute of the match, Cornelio Dorio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Adan Oton saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 22 minutes into the match, Chorrillos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Eliazar came free, but Rene Duardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Chorrillos FC defense, Armando Eliazar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rene Duardo. The Chorrillos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rene Duardo should have stopped the shot. Mario Nel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Rene Duardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rene Duardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Nel in the 32nd minute of the match. After 38 minutes of play, Lagunita AFC's Armando Eliazar made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rene Duardo was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Armando Eliazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Eliazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Duardo having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cornelio Dorio to make the kick off. Rene Duardo stood somewhat misplaced when Armando Eliazar came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 53 minute. If Armando Eliazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Eliazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Rene Duardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Goiz kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. If Mario Nel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 78 in the game by Mario Nel from a close distance when the talented Rene Duardo managed to make a qualified save. Chorrillos FC's players were relieved. If Mario Nel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mario Nel took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rene Duardo. Rene Duardo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 85th minute, Armando Eliazar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lagunita AFC's Mario Nel got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lagunita AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
