Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Iratze in the 3rd minute of play forced Perchel's goalkeeper Serafino Anaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Perchel getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Leon Ruy hit a great ball. Faustino Luzaide blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tadeo Madaleno having to make a save. In the 11th match minute, Perchel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Luzaide to maneuver through the defense. Serafino Anaya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustino Oinaz in the 13th minute. Anastasio Bidari kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Tadeo Madaleno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Lobo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serdar Göktürk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Serafino Anaya was a little too slow when Serdar Göktürk got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. Serdar Göktürk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafino Anaya came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Cruz azul's Rigoberto Iratze. But to his dismay, Rigoberto Iratze quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Leon Ruy fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perchel's protests and gave Leon Ruy a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cruz azul booed when Perchel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Ruy didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Rigoberto Iratze in the 32nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Serafino Anaya's left hand side. If Rigoberto Iratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 35 minutes into the match, Cruz azul's Vladimiro Eduino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafino Anaya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Vladimiro Eduino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cruz azul's Serdar Göktürk got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cruz azul's Vladimiro Eduino got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Leo Lobo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tadeo Madaleno. Cruz azul's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Serdar Göktürk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Serafino Anaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Cruz azul's Tadeo Madaleno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Cruz azul from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute, Rigoberto Iratze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 59 minutes, Rigoberto Iratze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cruz azul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rigoberto Iratze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Vladimiro Eduino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cruz azul's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimiro Eduino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafino Anaya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th match minute, Cruz azul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Abascal to maneuver through the defense. Leo Lobo, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 67 played minutes Cruz azul got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Abascal. Tadeo Madaleno made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Faustino Luzaide sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Perchel defense, Anastasio Abascal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafino Anaya. The Perchel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafino Anaya should have stopped the shot. If Rigoberto Iratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cruz azul's Clemente Orlan was substituted for Serdar Göktürk. Serafino Anaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Orlan in the 81st minute of play. Clemente Orlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Serafino Anaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rigoberto Iratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimiro Eduino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Perchel's Serafino Anaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Orlan in the 90th minute of play. Clemente Orlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafino Anaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Orlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the referee ended the match the Cruz azul players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
