After 17 minutes of play, Club Atlético Cerillo's Benedicto Loren made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Apolo Chayo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Saul Tauro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 21st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 23 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Cerillo's Benedicto Loren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Apolo Chayo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Apolo Chayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Tauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colazo's Apolo Chayo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Colazo from getting a goal against them. 48 minutes into the game, Saul Tauro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Apolo Chayo. Saul Tauro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saul Tauro made a kick off. Colazo's Apolo Chayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Loren in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Tauro in the 58th minute of play forced Colazo's goalkeeper Apolo Chayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Saul Tauro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Apolo Chayo. Colazo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saul Tauro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Estebe in the 75th minute of play forced Club Atlético Cerillo's goalkeeper Niceto Iraitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Gagriel took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Apolo Chayo. Apolo Chayo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Benedicto Loren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Chayo having to interfere. Benedicto Loren struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Apolo Chayo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Cerillo. Colazo's Apolo Chayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Tauro in the 89th minute of play. Saul Tauro might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Apolo Chayo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saul Tauro ran back to his position shaking his head. Club Atlético Cerillo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
