Faustino Oskarbi scored 1-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Genaro Goi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Santo Pirmin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Haitz having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Stephen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guerrero FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villanueva the free kick. Genaro Goi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tobias Harkaitz's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Santo Pirmin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Nicanor Haitz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 26 minutes into the game, Eleuterio Lope cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Nicanor Haitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eleuterio Lope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Harkaitz in the 33rd minute of play forced Guerrero FC's goalkeeper Genaro Goi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santo Pirmin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norberto Udalaitz hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Santo Pirmin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Nicanor Haitz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Santo Pirmin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 46 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Santo Pirmin made the kick off in the second half. Severo Danel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nicanor Haitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Pirmin in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Villanueva's Adrian Jerrald got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 66th minute, Faustino Oskarbi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, Arnoldo Stephen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santo Pirmin in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicanor Haitz saved Villanueva from getting behind. In the 75thth minute of the game Santo Pirmin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villanueva's Nicanor Haitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jaime Favila hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Guerrero FC's zone, Juan Benat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genaro Goi came out of the goal and Juan Benat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicanor Haitz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Guerrero FC's Santo Pirmin shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Santo Pirmin struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Nicanor Haitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guerrero FC. Villanueva's Nicanor Haitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Pirmin in the 94th minute of play. Nicanor Haitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Pirmin in the 95th minute of the match. Nicanor Haitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santo Pirmin's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Guerrero FC fully deserved thier win.
