The supporters of Fontana booed when Aike was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silverio Ponc didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uriel Martinez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Aike getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ramiro Selatse hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Aike's Bernabe Isauro got a free kick in the 26th minute. Fontana's Alejandro Silvino got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Osvaldo Cresitobalo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fontana's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldo Cresitobalo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorio Guilabertus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the game, Alejandro Silvino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gregorio Guilabertus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44th minute, Juan Tiniebra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fontana:s Artemio Grabiel showed great skill when he stopped Pastor Roano:s penalty. In the 48th minute, Pastor Roano made a precise shot to the right of Artemio Grabiel. Fontana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alejandro Silvino was the one to do the kick off. Alejandro Silvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Guilabertus having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Fontana's Alejandro Silvino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gregorio Guilabertus. That made the score 1-2 after 60 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Aike's zone, Alejandro Silvino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregorio Guilabertus came out of the goal and Alejandro Silvino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gervasio Felo thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Gregorio Guilabertus, a very annoying self made goal in the 71st minute which led to 1-3. Artemio Grabiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Fiz in the 74th minute of the match. Alejandro Silvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Guilabertus having to interfere. Uriel Martinez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fontana's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
