Cleto Herensuge's late challenge caught a Monteverde AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cleto Herensuge helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Cleto Herensuge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Durval Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Rik having to interfere. If Jeremias Olando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Candido Meder made a precise shot to the right of German Paz. Monteverde AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Meder in the 32nd minute of play forced Monteverde AFC's goalkeeper German Paz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Angelo Miliano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monteverde AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Miliano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelo Miliano in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Godofredo Rik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Angelo Miliano fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monteverde AFC's protests and gave Angelo Miliano a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 played minutes Monteverde AFC got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Miliano. After 83 minutes, Angelo Miliano made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Arizona AFC's Godofredo Rik tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th minute, Robustiano Jakue got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Godofredo Rik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelo Miliano's shot from short distance in the 95th minute.
