Oscar Veronica could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Carlos Estavan made a huge save. Hugo Setúbal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Veronica succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-5 in the 96th playminute. Darwin's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
