Victorio Gelacio came out of the goal and Vladimiro Argenis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vladimiro Argenis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Gelacio having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Maximo Servando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 30 played minutes, Manfredi FC's Serafin Innocenzio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Victorio Gelacio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Manfredi FC reached it. Victorio Gelacio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Servando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Servando in the 38th minute of play forced Gaona's goalkeeper Victorio Gelacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaona's Ceferino Abad got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Geronimo Estebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 54th minute Maximo Servando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorio Gelacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victorio Gelacio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Argenis, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The supporters of Manfredi FC booed when Gaona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Natal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fidel Gelacio, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Victorio Gelacio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Argenis in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, Gaona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Roldanillo to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, Ceferino Abad notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Manfredi FC's Aquiles Uhin. Aquiles Uhin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Gaona getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Camilo Roldanillo hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximo Servando in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victorio Gelacio saved Gaona from getting behind. Manfredi FC's Aquiles Uhin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Manfredi FC from getting a goal against them. If Geronimo Estebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
