Tabacal FC's Joel Erroman got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Camilo Erroman hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Zacarias Pierres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Chus having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Carrizal's zone, Zacarias Pierres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Chus came out of the goal and Zacarias Pierres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Erroman in the 13th minute of play forced Carrizal's goalkeeper Jose Chus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Inocencio Kelemen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 22 minutes, Maximino Abilio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carrizal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximino Abilio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricardo Eder blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Oinaz having to make a save. Joel Erroman struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Jose Chus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tabacal FC. 30 minutes into the match, Carrizal's Ricardo Eder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Oinaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tabacal FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Ricardo Eder scored to the left of an out of position Martin Oinaz, making the score, 1-2. The supporters of Carrizal booed when Tabacal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Millrick didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pablo Mateus was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Martin Oinaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximino Abilio in the 41st minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Maximino Abilio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carrizal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximino Abilio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricardo Eder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Martin Oinaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zacarias Pierres to strike the kick off in the second half. Maximino Abilio might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Oinaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximino Abilio ran back to his position shaking his head. Maximino Abilio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Oinaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Zacarias Pierres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jose Chus having to make a save. Maximino Abilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximino Abilio might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Oinaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximino Abilio ran back to his position shaking his head. Laureano Millrick kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 90th minute of the match Carrizal got a corner. Tabacal FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pablo Mateus ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Eustacio Panpili managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 94 played minutes Tabacal FC got a freekick which was hit by Amado Jax. If Ricardo Eder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
