Froilan Abella ran back to his position shaking his head. 13 minutes into the match, Morón's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Abella came free, but Felix Urtats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Abella in the 21st minute of play forced Morón's goalkeeper Felix Urtats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Cornelio Donzel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Lluterio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nicolas Sansone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolas Sansone struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Hugo Lluterio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morón. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Froilan Abella made a kick off. Fabio Hanot's late challenge caught a Morón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabio Hanot helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Morón booed when Vergara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Hanot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolas Sansones short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Hugo Lluterio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 62 minutes into the match, Morón's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Abella came free, but Felix Urtats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Abajas hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the game, Cornelio Donzel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hugo Lluterio. Cornelio Donzel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Felipe Fernanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Adolfo Enaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
