Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Marco Reno started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Javier Caradaro got free with Jairo Firmo in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Santos Urko came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Tacana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santos Urko couldn't finish the play. Marco Reno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Leonel Sanduru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tacana! FC HIDALGUENSE's Jairo Firmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Urko in the 23rd minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Tacana's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Txindoki came free, but Leonel Sanduru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Marco Reno managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC HIDALGUENSE's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Reno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonel Sanduru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonel Sanduru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Reno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th match minute, Tacana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Quico to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the game, FC HIDALGUENSE's Marco Reno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonel Sanduru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Javier Caradaro struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Jairo Firmo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tacana. The Tacana players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC HIDALGUENSE were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santos Urko to strike the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes, Martin Diegotxe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC HIDALGUENSE and the Tacana players grew even worse after the yellow card. FC HIDALGUENSE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Reno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC HIDALGUENSE's zone, Santos Urko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Firmo came out of the goal and Santos Urko tried to chip the ball over his head. After having played for 72 minutes, Emanuel Txindoki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luciano Quico during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The FC HIDALGUENSE supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC HIDALGUENSE would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
