Chamaicó's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leopoldo Loi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Real Bañil FC's Esteban Belasko got a free kick in the 9th minute. Guido Chayo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 10th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 12th minute Andres Juvenal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Fix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Furtado in the 14th minute of play forced Real Bañil FC's goalkeeper Benicio Fix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andres Juvenal might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benicio Fix. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andres Juvenal ran back to his position shaking his head. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Bañil FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guido Chayo was slow to take the kick. During this time Chamaicó's players had a chance to rest. Chamaicó's Guido Chayo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benicio Fix in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Benicio Fix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Juvenal in the 22nd minute of play. Aureliano Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Chamaicó's Aristides Brion got control of the ball when Leopoldo Loi tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Furtado in the 32nd minute of play forced Real Bañil FC's goalkeeper Benicio Fix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andres Juvenal took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benicio Fix. Benicio Fix dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Chamaicó's zone, Damaso Ceandro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Brion came out of the goal and Damaso Ceandro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Aureliano Furtado made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damaso Ceandro in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristides Brion saved Chamaicó from getting behind. In the 64th minute, Marcelino Espiridion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chamaicó's Aureliano Furtado got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benicio Fix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Furtado in the 76th minute of the match. Benicio Fix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Furtado in the 81st minute of play. Andres Juvenal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Fix having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Damaso Ceandro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Bañil FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Damaso Ceandro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristides Brion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Damaso Ceandro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Chamaicó players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Real Bañil FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
