Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Tapias AFC's Alvaro Quirce started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 4 minutes, Serafino Leoiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panacán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafino Leoiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Moises Guipuzkoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafino Leoiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Federico Ortle charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Federico Ortle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 played minutes Tapias AFC got a freekick which was hit by Federico Ortle. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Federico Ortle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tapias AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Federico Ortle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Austin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Alvaro Quirce sped through Panacán's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Antonio Austin. Alvaro Quirce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Austin having to interfere. Antonio Austin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Esquipula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Saturnino Buinton fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panacán's protests and gave Saturnino Buinton a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Tapias AFC booed when Panacán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Buinton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Bikendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Moises Guipuzkoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvaro Quirce struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Antonio Austin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tapias AFC. After a defensive mix-up in Tapias AFC's zone, Jorge Bikendi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moises Guipuzkoa came out of the goal and Jorge Bikendi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serafino Leoiar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jorge Bikendi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Moises Guipuzkoa having to make a save. Sixto Ur took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Moises Guipuzkoa. Tapias AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Jorge Bikendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Moises Serafo fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tapias AFC's protests and gave Moises Serafo a yellow card for diving instead. Moises Serafo kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. When Panacán's Serafino Leoiar in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tapias AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Antonio Austin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Quirce in the 69th minute of play. After 70 played minutes Tapias AFC got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Nuno. Panacán's Antonio Austin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Panacán from getting a goal against them. Felix Esquipula could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Antonio Austin made a huge save. If Alvaro Quirce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the game, one of Panacán:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 94th minute there was a penalty for Tapias AFC. Vicente Enekoitz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Antonio Austin. 0-2. When the final whistle sounded Tapias AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Panacán.
