Jorge Bikendi took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damian Hori. Damian Hori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Malabrigo FC's Damian Hori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Leoiar in the 39th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Serafino Leoiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panacán's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafino Leoiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damian Hori breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Serafino Leoiar to make the kick off. Malabrigo FC's Apolo Elia got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filomeno Montes might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antonio Austin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filomeno Montes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 61st minute, Filomeno Montes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antonio Austin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Serafino Leoiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Austin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Montes, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After having played for 69 minutes, Serafino Leoiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panacán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafino Leoiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jorge Bikendi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Damian Hori firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Serafino Leoiar came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Panacán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafino Leoiar couldn't finish the play. After 74 minutes, Filomeno Montes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malabrigo FC and the Panacán players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Malabrigo FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Filomeno Montes hit a great ball. Daniel Chabier hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Serafino Leoiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carmelo Bizen during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 82 played minutes Panacán got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Bizen.
