In the 17th match minute, Leales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Txerran to maneuver through the defense. Primitivo Chus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Lore, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 47th minute, Benicio Elequemedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

After a defensive mix-up in Tejas's zone, Benicio Filipo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Primitivo Chus came out of the goal and Benicio Filipo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benicio Filipo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Marco Michael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Havier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 63 minutes, Victorino Ler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tejas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorino Ler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marco Michael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Guillerme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Leales's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Guillerme came free, but Marco Michael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Leales's Benicio Filipo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Primitivo Chus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 72 minutes, Sergio Ignado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tejas and the Leales players grew even worse after the yellow card. Primitivo Chus acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 74th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Adrian Hermelando. When Sergio Ignado was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. Arturo Lore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Primitivo Chus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Casimiro Guillerme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Michael having to interfere. A collision led to Tejas getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Casimiro Guillerme hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Benicio Filipo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benicio Filipo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Primitivo Chus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
