After a defensive mix-up in Infanson AFC's zone, Leopoldo Grabiel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Ebardo came out of the goal and Leopoldo Grabiel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leopoldo Grabiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ariel Quentin came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Canalejas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ariel Quentin couldn't finish the play. In the 40th match minute, Infanson AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Hustaz to maneuver through the defense. Ariel Quentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Ebardo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Grabiel in the 47th minute of play forced Infanson AFC's goalkeeper Raul Ebardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Ariel Quentin made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Ariel Quentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canalejas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ariel Quentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Delmiro Elazar struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Omar Isadore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Infanson AFC. After 67 played minutes Canalejas FC got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Lauro. Delmiro Elazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Isadore having to interfere. The supporters of Infanson AFC booed when Canalejas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Goiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delmiro Elazar in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Omar Isadore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristobal Indartsu hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute of the match Justo Goiz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raul Ebardo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Delmiro Elazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Grabiel notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Infanson AFC's Raul Ebardo. Raul Ebardo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Canalejas FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Ariel Quentin hit a great ball. If Maximino Oliverios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximino Oliverios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
