When Salvador Gaizkine came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Bonnement fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Gaizkine couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the match, Concepción AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Urbes came free, but Justino Salvator reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pablo Etor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Ubaldo Tajo made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Concepción AFC's Ubaldo Tajo threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Desiderio Hever, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Pablo Etor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Salvador Gaizkine stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pablo Etor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Tajo having to interfere. If Desiderio Hever had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 97 played minutes Bonnement got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Ferran. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bonnement had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
