When Luca's Mauro Hurko in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye América's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Luca booed when América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Guerau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavio Beturian made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Paulino Evarado sent off a good shot on target. In the 17th minute, Cayetano Favila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulino Evarado might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavio Beturian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulino Evarado ran back to his position shaking his head. Luis Guerau hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 21 played minutes América got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Favila. 27 minutes into the match, América's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Hurko came free, but Flavio Beturian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauro Hurko in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Beturian saved América from getting behind. A hard shot 31 in the game by Paulino Evarado from a close distance when the talented Flavio Beturian managed to make a qualified save. América's players were relieved. If Mauro Hurko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, América's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mauro Hurko fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in América's zone, Paulino Evarado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Beturian came out of the goal and Paulino Evarado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulino Evarado charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulino Evarado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of América booed when Luca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Evarado didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mauro Hurko to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Venancio Artaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute of the match Hernan Ibar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavio Beturian skillfully saved the ball. In the 61st minute, Marcelino Chale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venancio Artaldo, 62 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Tiburcio Frans's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Denis Viator skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tiburcio Frans struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Denis Viator didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for América. Tiburcio Frans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Luca getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Rogelio Frutos hit a great ball. Venancio Artaldo's shot from long distance in the 72nd minute was not bad at all, but Luca's Denis Viator knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Paulino Evarado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Cayetano Favila fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored América's protests and gave Cayetano Favila a yellow card for diving instead. Cayetano Favila kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. When Paulino Evarado came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Luca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulino Evarado couldn't finish the play. Efrain Rozarius hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After having played for 95 minutes, Mauro Hurko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Hurko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 96 minutes, Luis Guerau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the América and the Luca players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 96 played minutes América got a freekick which was hit by Luis Guerau. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
