Freddy Corderun scored 1-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guido Fagondo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Domingos Maxin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Domingos Maxin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anacleto Dimas was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Freddy Corderun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Guido Fagondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domingos Maxin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Dimas having to interfere. If Domingos Maxin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

54 minutes into the game, Basavilbaso AFC's Freddy Corderun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guido Fagondo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 74th match minute, Yofré was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Tadzio to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute Freddy Corderun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Fagondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Freddy Corderun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Yofré getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Angel Corderun hit a great ball. Horacio Dubardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Guido Fagondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freddy Corderun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Basavilbaso AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Yofré had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
