A collision led to Leipzig getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Angelino Cordarell hit a great ball. In the 7thth minute of the game Alejandro Formerio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leipzig's Arnoldo Clodio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arnoldo Clodio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Formerio in the 8th minute of the match. After 10 minutes of play, Schiffner's Celso Iliana made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnoldo Clodio was left in no man's land by his defense there! 14 minutes into the match, Alejandro Formerio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnoldo Clodio. Leipzig's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alejandro Formerio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Celso Iliana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Arnoldo Clodio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Siro Oihan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leipzig's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Schiffner the free kick. Alejandro Formerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Clodio having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Claudio Hustaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Siro Oihan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Siro Oihan was shown his second yellow card after 30 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Claudio Hustaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Filomeno Hartz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Gogo Perutxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnoldo Clodio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Formerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celso Iliana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Celso Iliana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Clodio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Leipzig's zone, Mateo Faron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnoldo Clodio came out of the goal and Mateo Faron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alejandro Formerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leipzig's Arnoldo Clodio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Leipzig from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudio Hustaz during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Leipzig getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Claudio Hustaz hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Alejandro Formerio took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Arnoldo Clodio to make any attempt to save it. Celso Iliana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 74 minutes, Alejandro Formerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Schiffner's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejandro Formerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filomeno Hartz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Cordarell in the 80th minute of play. Angelino Cordarell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filomeno Hartz having to make a save. Claudio Hustaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Hartz having to interfere. Schiffner's Mateo Faron pulled a muscle in his back after 89 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Angelino Cordarell charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelino Cordarell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Angelino Cordarell hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Rolando Maju was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 91st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Claudio Hustaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Rolando Maju sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Leipzig's Arnoldo Clodio didn't even have to move. The Leipzig supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Schiffner's performance. The match ended with a win for Schiffner.
