Clemente Gudesteo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardino Santio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everardo Costante made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Joaquin Berasko sent off a good shot on target. Bernardino Santio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Clemente Gudesteo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardino Santio's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Serafin Soin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Everardo Sidro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Serafin Soin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Clemente Gudesteo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 21 minutes, Lisandro Piorno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panambí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lisandro Piorno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serafin Soin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justo Precioso's late challenge caught a Anguilan AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justo Precioso helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes Anguilan AFC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Gaitan. Everardo Costante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Piorno in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Piorno in the 40th minute of play forced Anguilan AFC's goalkeeper Everardo Costante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Panambí's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leonardo Gilesindo was slow to take the kick. During this time Anguilan AFC's players had a chance to rest. Serafin Soin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
With a little luck, Panambí's Clemente Gudesteo got control of the ball when Serafin Soin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 58 minutes, Bernardino Santio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anguilan AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardino Santio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Clemente Gudesteo managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Anguilan AFC's Serafin Soin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 69 played minutes Panambí got a freekick which was hit by Justo Precioso. If Serafin Soin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Clemente Gudesteo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bernardino Santio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 75 minute of play. Serafin Soin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Everardo Costante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Berasko in the 80th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Everardo Sidro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panambí's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anguilan AFC the free kick. After 82 played minutes Panambí got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Sidro. Clemente Gudesteo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 83rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Leonardo Gilesindo. A collision led to Panambí getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Everardo Sidro hit a great ball. Clemente Gudesteo was a little too slow when Bernardino Santio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-2. If Bernardino Santio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Anguilan AFC's Ramiro Bertol got a free kick in the 98th minute. When the match was over Anguilan AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Panambí throughout the match.
