Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gervasio Amato made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Caraza FC's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Abalos came free, but Paulino Horado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Roberto Gilabert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mártires FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roberto Gilabert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulino Horado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute Braulio Abalos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Horado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Caraza FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Mauricio Inge hit a great ball. Roberto Gilabert struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Paulino Horado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mártires FC. In the 31st minute, Mauricio Inge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 played minutes Mártires FC got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Bilbo. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Erubiel Eyague managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caraza FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Erubiel Eyague was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Austin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Erubiel Eyague had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Braulio Abalos to make the kick off. Mártires FC's Leon Austin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Amato in the 55th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Roberto Gilabert made a precise shot to the right of Paulino Horado. Caraza FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Leon Austin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Eyague in the 66th minute of play. With a little luck, Caraza FC's Paulino Horado got control of the ball when Roberto Gilabert tried to sneak it across the goal line. Caraza FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Braulio Abalos 82 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Caraza FC's Mauricio Inge got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leon Austin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Amato, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Erubiel Eyague's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leon Austin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. With a little luck, Caraza FC's Paulino Horado got control of the ball when Roberto Gilabert tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulino Horado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Abalos, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Mártires FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mártires FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
