The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Honorato Gomez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernabe Montes in the 3rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roman Darien during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Amadeo Fidele might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Honorato Gomez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amadeo Fidele ran back to his position shaking his head. After 16 minutes, Isidoro Quilo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calderilla and the Manucho AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Calderilla getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Isidoro Quilo hit a great ball. Bernabe Montes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Honorato Gomez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Calderilla's Bernabe Montes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Honorato Gomez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 36th match minute, Manucho AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Aztore to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Manucho AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Roman Darien hit a great ball. When Amadeo Fidele came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Calderilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeo Fidele couldn't finish the play. Honorato Gomez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernabe Montes in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 47thth minute of the game Bernabe Montes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manucho AFC's Honorato Gomez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mateo Lucado was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Manucho AFC got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Meder. Mateo Lucado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Jaunzuria having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Americo Liberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manucho AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Isidoro Quilo 61 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. 65 minutes into the match, Gustavo Gurutz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvaro Jaunzuria. Calderilla's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustavo Gurutz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. During the 70th minute of the match Americo Liberto completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Americo Liberto a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Manucho AFC's Americo Liberto got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Amadeo Fidele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calderilla's Alvaro Jaunzuria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Gurutz in the 75th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Manucho AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Fidele came free, but Honorato Gomez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernabe Montes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Honorato Gomez having to make a save. Mateo Lucado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Jaunzuria having to interfere. Amadeo Fidele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Gomez having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Bernabe Montes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Calderilla fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The Calderilla supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Calderilla would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
