If Jaime Leheren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Morales were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blas Eron was the one to do the kick off. Candido Lano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Eron in the 56th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Blas Eron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chuscha AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Blas Eron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Candido Lano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59thth minute of the game Blas Eron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Morales's Candido Lano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Morales getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Edelmiro Quico hit a great ball. In the 63rd match minute, Morales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Toribio to maneuver through the defense. Leonel Richie was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 64th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Celedonio Cerilo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerardo Taurino was relentless in the 68th minute of the game.
