Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gavino Senon got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Chancay FC booed when Arenales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Osoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arenales's Jonas Gaizko got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ermegildo Tallia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fulgencio Cordairo in the 9th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Arenales's Jonas Gaizko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelino Jakobe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Arenales booed when Chancay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Bazkoare didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Gaizko in the 20th minute of play forced Chancay FC's goalkeeper Angelino Jakobe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-1 became the score in the 23rd minute when Saul Havier elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Fulgencio Cordairo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Arenales's goalkeeper Ermegildo Tallia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fulgencio Cordairo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fulgencio Cordairo got free with Ermegildo Tallia in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute, one of Arenales:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Arenales. Jonas Gaizko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saul Havier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saul Havier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felipe Osoitz hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute Gavino Senon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Tallia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavino Senon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Chancay FC's Fulgencio Cordairo in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gavino Senon in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ermegildo Tallia saved Arenales from getting behind. Gavino Senon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Tallia having to interfere. Fulgencio Cordairo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felipe Osoitz charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felipe Osoitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Felipe Osoitz hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Fulgencio Cordairo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 played minutes Arenales got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Giro. Ermegildo Tallia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Cordairo in the 84th minute of the match. Arenales's Ermegildo Tallia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Cordairo in the 86th minute of play. Arenales's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
