The referee ignored Mocoretá FC's protests and gave Anastasio Che a yellow card for diving instead. Anastasio Che hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 10 played minutes Mocoretá FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Kimetz. With his leg Basilio Baristo managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when REAL MANDRIL F.C.'s Ulysses Zonta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Benito Bilbo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Arias in the 16th minute of the match. In the 16thth minute of the game Marcelino Arias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but REAL MANDRIL F.C.'s Benito Bilbo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, REAL MANDRIL F.C.'s Santiago Asteri got a free kick in the 17th minute. Ezequiel Frichoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 played minutes Mocoretá FC got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Veremundo. After 23 played minutes, REAL MANDRIL F.C.'s Ulysses Zonta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Basilio Baristo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in REAL MANDRIL F.C. reached it. In the 24th minute, Santiago Asteri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Marcelino Arias sped through REAL MANDRIL F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Bilbo. When Ezequiel Frichoso came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the REAL MANDRIL F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Frichoso couldn't finish the play. Basilio Baristo stood somewhat misplaced when Ezequiel Frichoso came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 31 minute. Basilio Baristo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Frichoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. REAL MANDRIL F.C.'s Jonathan Atauri got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Valery in the 47th minute of play forced REAL MANDRIL F.C.'s goalkeeper Benito Bilbo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ezequiel Frichoso was the one to do the kick off. Juan Gomes lost his temper 54 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of REAL MANDRIL F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mocoretá FC:s goal. Benito Bilbo had in the 57thth minute some difficulties stopping Jacinto Lixandro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Marcelino Arias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Benito Bilbo made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ezequiel Frichoso in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basilio Baristo saved Mocoretá FC from getting behind. After 65 played minutes, REAL MANDRIL F.C.'s Maximino Pueblo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Basilio Baristo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Basilio Baristo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. REAL MANDRIL F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
