Isidro Telesforo charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isidro Telesforo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Conesa booed when CRUZ AZUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Telesforo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Filiberto Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute, Cornelio Rosario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidro Telesforo was shown his second yellow card after 9 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 9 played minutes CRUZ AZUL got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Telesforo. Filiberto Faro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Casimiro Uzuri made a huge save. If Romulo Oso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cornelio Rosario came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the CRUZ AZUL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cornelio Rosario couldn't finish the play. When Conesa's Filiberto Faro, in the 22nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Conesa. After having played for 25 minutes, Teodosio Xabier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Conesa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodosio Xabier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Casimiro Uzuri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filiberto Faro in the 26th minute. Camilo Haritz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Oso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Conesa's Teodosio Xabier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casimiro Uzuri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Casimiro Uzuri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Xabier in the 44th minute of the match. Prudencio Onofre kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 50th minute Conesa were awarded a corner. Epifanio Vedillo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Conesa's Epifanio Vedillo to fire away a dangerous shot which Casimiro Uzuri despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodosio Xabier to make the kick off. Romulo Oso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Camilo Haritz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romulo Oso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Haritz having to interfere. Prudencio Onofre kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. A collision led to CRUZ AZUL getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Cornelio Rosario hit a great ball. Casimiro Uzuri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Xabier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 76 minutes, Adolfo Cordaryal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Conesa and the CRUZ AZUL players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Conesa's Adolfo Cordaryal got a free kick in the 77th minute. Casimiro Uzuri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Xabier, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Filiberto Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Uzuri having to interfere. Teodosio Xabier spun around in front of the goal 91 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of CRUZ AZUL's goal. Filiberto Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Casimiro Uzuri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
