Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Honorio Perico started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, Escalante FC's goalkeeper Faustino Chus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lorenzo Natanael. The long shot by Omar Bonifaco in the 9th minute really tested Faustino Chus's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience was convinced that Emilio Viator's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Faustino Chus was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Lorenzo Natanael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute Melchor Benvido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Chus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lorenzo Natanael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Puntilla's Emilio Viator got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 24 in the game by Lorenzo Natanael from a close distance when the talented Faustino Chus managed to make a qualified save. Escalante FC's players were relieved. A collision led to Puntilla getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Emilio Viator hit a great ball. In the 31st match minute, Escalante FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Laurentzi to maneuver through the defense. Hipolito Sayvion charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hipolito Sayvion the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Escalante FC's Hipolito Sayvion got a free kick in the 37th minute. Emilio Viator sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lorenzo Natanael could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Faustino Chus made a huge save. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Escalante FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gavino Orlondo was slow to take the kick. During this time Puntilla's players had a chance to rest. Puntilla's Gavino Orlondo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Faustino Chus in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilio Viator was the one to do the kick off. Escalante FC's Faustino Chus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Viator in the 52nd minute of play. Faustino Chus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Natanael, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Faustino Chus came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Puntilla's Emilio Viator. But to his dismay, Emilio Viator quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Joel Senio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Perico in the 67th minute of play forced Puntilla's goalkeeper Cornelio Aritza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faustino Chus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emilio Viator's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 76th match minute, Escalante FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Hulberto to maneuver through the defense. Lorenzo Natanael struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Faustino Chus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puntilla. Hipolito Sayvion kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Emilio Viator managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puntilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilio Viator was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino Chus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
