David Vidal's late challenge caught a Internacionale FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 6 played minutes Escalante FC got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Laurentzi. Vicente Herauso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amadeo Brun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Faustino Chus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Amadeo Brun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Senio got free with Eduardo Palban in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Faustino Chus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Brun in the 19th minute of play. Joel Senio took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eduardo Palban. Eduardo Palban dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Eduardo Palban made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Senio in the 26th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Honorio Perico during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vicente Herauso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Honorio Perico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eduardo Palban having to make a save. A collision led to Escalante FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Maximo Lop hit a great ball. Joel Senio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Honorio Perico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eduardo Palban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Senio in the 60th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Internacionale FC's zone, Honorio Perico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Palban came out of the goal and Honorio Perico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Brun in the 65th minute of play forced Escalante FC's goalkeeper Faustino Chus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Honorio Perico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorio Perico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
