In the 39th minute Victor Loreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Salbatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vera FC's Ruben Salbatore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Vera FC from getting a goal against them. Vera FC's Ruben Salbatore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Loreto in the 41st minute of play. Arnoldo Orlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Eliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The Rescate players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vera FC were winning 0-2.

Ruben Salbatore made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Benigno Orlandus's late challenge caught a Rescate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Rescate's Victor Loreto got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 71 played minutes Vera FC got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Orlandus. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vera FC's goalkeeper Ruben Salbatore, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fernando Rexino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Orlan having to interfere. Fernando Rexino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Orlan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Fernando Rexinos short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Arnoldo Orlan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 92nd minute of the match, Fernando Rexino got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arnoldo Orlan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 97th minute Victor Loreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Salbatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Rescate fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vera FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
