Trapiche's Humberto Mitxaut got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Casaffousth FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Fabio Gilabert hit a great ball. In the 16th minute Pedro Bitxintxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saverio Erramun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 played minutes Trapiche got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Dolfo. When Trapiche's Aquiles Ospin in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Casaffousth FC's goalie prevented a goal. Edelmiro Dolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Saverio Erramun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Bitxintxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Saverio Erramun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Bitxintxo in the 36th minute of play. Trapiche's Humberto Mitxaut got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pastor Udalaitz hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. If Pedro Bitxintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Marciano Cristofol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hilario Beti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Mitxaut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aquiles Ospin made a kick off. Hilario Beti made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Humberto Mitxaut sent off a good shot on target. Hilario Beti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquiles Ospin's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Trapiche's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Gilabert came free, but Saverio Erramun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casaffousth FC's Hilario Beti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Ospin in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute Elias Oton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Beti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Casaffousth FC's Pedro Bitxintxo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Humberto Mitxaut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Prudencio Birila during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th match minute, Casaffousth FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prudencio Birila to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Bitxintxo took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saverio Erramun. Saverio Erramun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Casaffousth FC's Marciano Cristofol got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Casaffousth FC's goalkeeper Hilario Beti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, Casaffousth FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Ospin came free, but Hilario Beti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Diego Herena fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Casaffousth FC's protests and gave Diego Herena a yellow card for diving instead. Hilario Beti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Ospin in the 93rd minute of play. Trapiche's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
