The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, Cipriano Isidor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cipriano Isidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Maureo having to interfere. The supporters of Malena booed when Crispi AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Salomone didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Paulino Roldanillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rene Serafo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Paulino Roldanillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 39th minute, Paulino Roldanillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Crispi AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Christian Senio hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cipriano Isidor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Narciso Cordarrol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Roldanillo in the 62nd minute of play forced Crispi AFC's goalkeeper Rene Serafo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulino Roldanillo hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After 69 played minutes, Malena's Lucio Maties shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rene Serafo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Malena reached it. When Gaston Paul fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malena's protests and gave Gaston Paul a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes Malena got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Paul. Cristobal Maureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Cordarrol, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Gaston Paul got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Gaston Paul kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. If Teodoro Txurio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 played minutes Malena got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Vermudo. 96 minutes into the match, Malena's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Isidor came free, but Cristobal Maureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Malena players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
