The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cecilio Bernabel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Flor in the 29th minute of the match. Baltasar Salomon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Patrido having to interfere. Isaac Flor succeeded in the game's 41st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Placido Reno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Patrido having to interfere. After 52 played minutes Impira AFC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Uzuri. After some careless play in the Impira AFC defense, Placido Reno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filiberto Patrido. The Impira AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filiberto Patrido should have stopped the shot. Filiberto Patrido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Salomon in the 57th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Isaac Flor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cecilio Bernabel. That made the score 3-2 in the 62 minute of play. Feliberto Nesor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Placido Reno might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filiberto Patrido. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Placido Reno ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Baltasar Salomon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filiberto Patrido was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Placido Reno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Lezcanos's zone, Isaac Flor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cecilio Bernabel came out of the goal and Isaac Flor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filiberto Patrido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Salomon in the 78th minute of the match. Placido Reno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Filiberto Patrido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th match minute, Lezcanos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melquiades Lartaun to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Feliberto Nesor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lezcanos's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliberto Nesor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filiberto Patrido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filiberto Patrido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Salomon in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Impira AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Nesor came free, but Filiberto Patrido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Placido Reno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lezcanos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Impira AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
