Blandengues's Faustino Lander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Berasko in the 20th minute of play. Faustino Lander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Karlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 30th minute, Evelio Karlo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Faustino Lander, passed just outside the right post. Evelio Karlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Faustino Lander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Atahualpa AFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Silvestre Berasko hit a great ball. If Jonatan Itzaina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evelio Karlo to strike the kick off in the second half. If Teodoro Alonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. In the 57thth minute of the game Anier Porfirio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blandengues's Faustino Lander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Delmiro Padro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Belmiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enzo Ugutz's late challenge caught a Blandengues's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enzo Ugutz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, Atahualpa AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Ugutz to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Atahualpa AFC's zone, Teodoro Alonso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmiro Padro came out of the goal and Teodoro Alonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvestre Berasko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Faustino Lander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delmiro Padro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Itzaina in the 72nd minute of the match. Atahualpa AFC's Delmiro Padro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Itzaina in the 76th minute of play. Faustino Lander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Karlo in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Anier Jesco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Blandengues walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
