But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Venancio Urritz couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the match, Pehuajó FC's goalkeeper Ciro Primeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelino Roldanillo. Angelino Roldanillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciro Primeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Angelino Roldanillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ciro Primeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardo Henric showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Ganix in the 30th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Venancio Urritz was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Pehuajó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Urritz came free, but Ciro Primeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Constantino Neron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
