Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marcos Ciano kicked off to start the match. Narciso Urki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Huasapampa AFC's Narciso Urki was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 7th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Camilo Procopio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Ciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After a rather tough play, Huasapampa AFC's Adolfo Berasko got a free kick in the 11th minute. Varela's Ruben Sengrat got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcos Ciano struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Camilo Procopio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Varela. Marcos Ciano scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Procopio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute, Narciso Urki fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 35th minute, Varela's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Benigno Ongile fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 37th minute Narciso Urki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Larra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Huasapampa AFC's Benigno Ongile sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evaristo Larra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Marcos Ciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Procopio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Narciso Urki to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Varela got a freekick which was hit by David Oroitz. 56 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Huasapampa AFC's Narciso Urki fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Benigno Ongile managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huasapampa AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benigno Ongile was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaristo Larra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evaristo Larra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Urki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ezequiel Oier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Berasko hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Evaristo Larra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Urki, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Narciso Urki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Evaristo Larra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute of the match, Melchor Ixidor got a very nice opportunity to score, but Camilo Procopio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. It was beautiful to see Varela's Edgardo Edwardo in action when he in the 91st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Evaristo Larra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benigno Ongile went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score.
