Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zeledon Baumar started the match with the kick off. If Genaro Joseph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mattaldi's Abel Baristo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Baumar in the 7th minute of play. Zeledon Baumar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Baristo having to interfere. In the 13th minute of the match, Genaro Joseph got a very nice opportunity to score, but Abel Baristo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Serafino Katia charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serafino Katia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th minute, Serafino Katia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nereo Sanson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Edgard Cugat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nereo Sanson might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgard Cugat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ladislao Mel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Nereo Sanson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mattaldi's supporters rose to their feet, but Nereo Sanson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgard Cugat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgard Cugat made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Severiano Garcia sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Yaros getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Abelardo Gartzi hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Mattaldi's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Gartzi came free, but Abel Baristo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ladislao Mel's late challenge caught a Yaros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ladislao Mel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mattaldi's Ladislao Mel got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82ndth minute of the game Genaro Joseph who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mattaldi's Abel Baristo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yaros's Edgard Cugat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Yaros from getting a goal against them. Genaro Joseph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th match minute, Mattaldi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Teyo to maneuver through the defense. Abel Baristo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Baumar in the 92nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Zeledon Baumar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yaros's supporters rose to their feet, but Zeledon Baumar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Baristo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Mattaldi players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Yaros from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
