After a defensive mix-up in Mulcahy FC's zone, Ceferino Marin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmelo Cordearo came out of the goal and Ceferino Marin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hernan Eudoxio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Tupungata FC's Reynaldo Nalo got control of the ball when Martin Palban tried to sneak it across the goal line. Reynaldo Nalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Fe in the 31st minute of the match. The referee showed Elpidio Mateo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mulcahy FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Elpidio Mateo hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Carmelo Cordearo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ceferino Marin's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Carmelo Cordearo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceferino Marin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Mulcahy FC's goalkeeper Carmelo Cordearo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernan Eudoxio. Tupungata FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joaquin Urti in the 64th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ceferino Marin in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carmelo Cordearo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carmelo Cordearo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hernan Eudoxio in the 70th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Martin Palban notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Tupungata FC's Reynaldo Nalo. Reynaldo Nalo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Reynaldo Nalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Palban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernan Eudoxio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carmelo Cordearo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. If Martin Palban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mulcahy FC had won after a very even match.
