Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dalmacio Gutierrez got the match started through his kick off. Erubiel Ostadar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Adrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. If Horacio Nastasio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Adrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Ostadar having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Horacio Nastasio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dalmacio Gutierrez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Teodosio Lordi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horacio Nastasio went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Erubiel Ostadar made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Benito Ongile sent off a good shot on target. In the 30thth minute of the game Marcos Adrio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cruz Azul's Erubiel Ostadar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Herrera AFC's Teodosio Lordi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Tiniebra in the 32nd minute of play. If Horacio Nastasio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 minutes of play, Herrera AFC's Benito Ongile made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erubiel Ostadar was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Herrera AFC's Erasmo Calvino got a free kick in the 45th minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Dalmacio Gutierrez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cruz Azul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmacio Gutierrez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Horacio Nastasio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Dalmacio Gutierrez came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Cruz Azul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmacio Gutierrez couldn't finish the play. 54 minutes into the match, Herrera AFC's goalkeeper Teodosio Lordi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horacio Nastasio. A collision led to Cruz Azul getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Mateo Tiniebra hit a great ball. Benito Ongile fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Ostadar having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Benito Ongile ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erubiel Ostadar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The Herrera AFC fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Herrera AFC's Benito Ongile looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Benito Ongile recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute, Marcos Adrio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erubiel Ostadar was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Marcos Adrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Erubiel Ostadar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
