Vinalito's Jose Mano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Vinalito from getting a goal against them. Saladillo AFC's Angelino Galtero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Rami in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of Saladillo AFC booed when Vinalito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Uhin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amado Rami made a kick off. In the 63rd minute, Leandro Gartzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th match minute, Vinalito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Jurdan to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Vinalito's zone, Leandro Gartzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Mano came out of the goal and Leandro Gartzi tried to chip the ball over his head. Vinalito's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Dante Peio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vinalito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saladillo AFC the free kick.
