When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Casimiro Cordarrel sped through Infanson's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fausto Goito. After a rather tough play, Infanson's Prospero Ibon got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Alejandro Osasun didn't quite understand what happened when in the 33 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. A collision led to Infanson getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Simon Quirze hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Dionisio Esiquio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augusto Libertad made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Claudio Tauro sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Casimiro Cordarrel to strike the kick off in the second half. Claudio Tauro struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Augusto Libertad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Infanson. Ruperto Fonda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fausto Goito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Cordarrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruperto Fonda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Fausto Goito made a huge save. 70 minutes into the match, Tampico-Madero F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Sazon came free, but Augusto Libertad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Libertad came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Infanson's Claudio Tauro. But to his dismay, Claudio Tauro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Infanson's Arnulfo Sazon in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tampico-Madero F.C's goalie prevented a goal. 78 minutes into the match, Tampico-Madero F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Tauro came free, but Augusto Libertad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
