A collision led to Sorocayense AFC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Virgilio Mateus hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Mutquín FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Berasko came free, but Placido Elequemedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Placido Elequemedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Berasko, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Victorio Calixto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Agustin Deunoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee showed Virgilio Mateus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Sorocayense AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Mutquín FC's Armando Garaona got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 91 minutes into the game, Mutquín FC's Victorio Calixto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agustin Deunoro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Agustin Deunoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Pero in the 96th minute of play. Mutquín FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sorocayense AFC for a fine match.
