PUMAS FCA's Jimeno Maore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Abajas in the 19th minute of play. Ovidio Sancho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jimeno Maore. PUMAS FCA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A hard shot 23 in the game by Lucio Gartzen from a close distance when the talented Vladimiro Gomesano managed to make a qualified save. Barrancas's players were relieved. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Paio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vladimiro Gomesano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Lauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celedonio Lauro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimiro Gomesano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Ciriaco Lain took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jimeno Maore. PUMAS FCA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Celedonio Lauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Vladimiro Gomesano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute Lucio Gartzen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Gomesano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The PUMAS FCA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Barrancas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
