Victoriano Rufo, 7 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 10th minute Vicente Matthew shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Dacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eleuterio Urbes hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, Vicente Matthew dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julian Dacio, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Lazcano in the 18th minute of play forced Vinchina's goalkeeper Lorenzo Cordara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vinchina's goalkeeper Lorenzo Cordara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Denis Abaunza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fulton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The supporters of Vinchina booed when Fulton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Abadie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicente Matthew recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victorino Nazario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Fulton getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Eleuterio Urbes hit a great ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Denis Abaunza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fulton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Abaunza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lorenzo Cordara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Lazcano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aureliano Lazcano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Denis Abaunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Denis Abaunza was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Victorino Nazario put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Julian Dacio. Victorino Nazario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julian Dacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Nazario in the 61st minute of play. Angel Jesco charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angel Jesco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd match minute, Fulton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Jesco to maneuver through the defense. Lorenzo Cordara came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Fulton's Aureliano Lazcano. But to his dismay, Aureliano Lazcano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Victorino Nazario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julian Dacio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Matthew in the 72nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Vinchina's Lorenzo Cordara got control of the ball when Aureliano Lazcano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eleuterio Urbes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Cordara having to interfere. Victorino Nazario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
